Fast becoming a holiday tradition among DC's rock and roll community, the Black Cat's one night only 'Shop and Rock' is a flea-market/yard-sale/record-hop/swap-meet that combines the best elements of each. Last year, Guy Picciotto of Fugazi spun some of his favourite discs - including a heavy dose of Beatles - while shoppers sipped beers and browsed tables full of items ranging from motorcyle-chic to genuine rock-and-roll souvenirs. And records... lots and lots of cheap, used records.
