Among the peripheral events related to the current 'Living and Working in Vienna' exhibition at the Kunsthalle, the Sleazy Listening sessions at the chic'n'shabby Schikaneder Kino lounge are enthusiastically recommended. Every Saturday night they feature DJs and electronic soundsmiths accompanying shorts made by young Austrian filmmakers. The pre-Christmas programme included well-known DJs Patrick Pulsinger and Erdem Tunakan, celebrated laptop artiste and guitarist Christian Fennesz and the Austrian John Peel, Fritz Ostermayer.
